Aribella’s

ariblella

Angelo Maione has been in the restaurant business nearly all his life. In 1971, he arrived in New York from Calabria, Italy. The dishes at Aribella are named after people and places in Angelo’s life that shaped his culinary experience, mostly from his childhood in Italy. The Spaghetti Di Nonna Cristina is named after his grandmother with whom he spent hours in the kitchen helping as a boy. He still draws on her these days for inspiration. Of course if he named a dish after his grandmother, Angelo would have to name one after his mother. The Gnocchi di Mamma … Continue reading

Our ten tap glycol beer system offers the most popular micro-brews with a guaranteed cold pour every glass. With a fully stocked bar and … Continue reading

Crave

cravewindow

Crave’s cuisine is best described as an eclectic Caribbean fusion. The food is not fancy – just home cooked goodness. Crave was born in Libby’s mind years before it actually got built. It took her chef, Fabian Delgado, and Libby a year to get it ready. They both had full time jobs, would get out of work, and dream up Crave until late into the night. In 2001, for no particular reason, the landlord for Libby’s boutique approached her about renting the storefront adjacent to it. Crave found its perfect location in one of the oldest Opera houses in Connecticut. … Continue reading
